For those of you that think that some things are impossible in life, well here you go as nothing is impossible and new under the sun. In the Unites States, an American woman from Indianapolis totally destroyed any record of most babies in a lone pregnancy.
She broke the world record by giving birth to 17 babied at a go. The delivery spanned a whole 29 hours at Indianan Memorial Hospital.
Here are some words from the doctor that handled the delivery:
[qoute]Quote:"It was incredible" explains Dr. Jack Morrow who assisted the woman through the whole operation." The babies kept coming and coming and coming and coming... Man! I think I'm gonna have nightmares about this day for a long time! This was my last delivery!" he adds in disgust.[/quote]
The woman's name is Catherine Bridges and it was known that she and her husband have been trying to get a child for a long time. So after a while they decided to seek medical assistance from a fertility clinic in Rhodes Island.
The process of insemination was successful and the resultant effect was the birth of seventeen boys. As you can see in the image, she is already tired of handling 17 troublesome boys.
