Wizkid Refuses To Accept Davido’s Offer For Collaboration With Him ? Details

It looks as if Wizkid is yet to say yes ti a collaboration with his industry nemesis Davido.

A fan on Instagram asked if it is true Davido is featuring Wizkid, he said yes, but only on his own part suggesting Wizid hasn't accepted the offer on the table.

We look forward to Wizkid's response but for now it looks like it isn't happening.

Okonjo-iweala Denied Presenting "Jonathan's Corruption" Document To Buhari

Former Minister of Finance, Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala has denied reports that she has presented a document containing former President, Goodluck Jonathan's alleged corrupt deals to President Muhammadu Buhari.

Okonjo-Iweala, speaking through her media aide, Paul Nwabuikwu, stated that the story was created to make her regret working for Nigeria. This was contained in a statement released by Nwabuikwu on the ex-minister's behalf.

It reads in part:
"Recent reports that former Minister of Finance, Dr Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala has handed over a "dossier of corrupt deals" perpetrated by the Jonathan administration to President Buhari is completely false and without foundation."

"This sponsored lie is part of the political attack by the pay masters against Dr Okonjo-Iweala. These attacks will continue given that these individuals are bent on a political and personal vendetta against her."

"Why are they angry? It is simply because she tried to bring integrity and transparency to the management of Nigeria's public finances which obviously did not suit their interests.

"But the lies will never stop Okonjo-Iweala from loving her country or make her regret serving it, not once but twice. As always, we are confident that the truth shall prevail."

A 37-year-old Emeka Odigwu Economics graduate of the Delta State owned University, Abraka has attempted committing suicide over his failed relationship to his longstanding lover at the weekend. He was discovered by the police.

According to reports Emekus as he is fondly called by his friends, had the saddest story of heartbreak a week to his wedding when his fiancée rejected his love at an outing with his friends in a popular fast food in Warri metropolis.

DSP Celestina Kalu, Police Public Relations Officer in the state said that the victim was rescued at a T-Junction in Warri by Police Patrol team on routine duty, adding that he was found almost lifeless around Jappa Junction gasping between his breaths around 10:30pm on Saturday night on the ground.

DSP Kalu disclosed that the Policemen who moved into him on the ground, recovered a letter he wrote, "I fell heartbroken and rejected by someone, whom I loved and had given my heart to over the years in the midst of a get together with my friends, I'd rather die and return to my mother's earth".

According to the victim's younger sister Evelyn Odigwe, her brother had been dating that girl for more than three years running and just proposed to her recently in the presence of their entire family, thinking he had found his soul mate before the bubble burst.

Unconfirmed sources said that the girl (name withheld) allegedly dumped the victim when her childhood friend who traveled abroad six years ago returned with high hopes promises and asked her hand in marriage.

But the victim's sister said that the Police recovered six sachets of rat poisons on the ground where he laid after he expressed disappointment on the fateful day and returned to his room, claiming he was going to bed.

According to her, "My brother may have gone to buy the rat poisons and drank them because he was really emotional over the girl's attitude".

FIFA President Sepp Blatter Sprayed With Fake Dollar Bills During Press Conference (Photos)

Disgraced FIFA president Sepp Blatter was sensationally sprayed with fake dollar notes by British comedian Simon Brodkin who gatecrashed his press conference in Zurich this afternoon.

Simon, who also goes by the name, Jason Bent & Lee Nelson, who is a well known prankster, walked up to Blatter's position behind a table at the front of the stage and placed a sum of money on the table and said: 'This is for North Korea 2026', before throwing the money into the air, which rained down on Blatter.

Simon was later taken away by Swiss police.


APC Cannot Win Ekiti Even If Tinubu Becomes INEC Chairman – Fayose

Ekiti State Governor, Ayodele Fayose on Sunday boasted that the All Progressives Congress, APC, can never win elections in the state.

He also took a swipe at the party's national leader, Bola Tinubu.

"Even if Tinubu becomes the INEC chairman, they will lose in Ekiti, because they are not on ground here", Fayose said via his Twitter account.

According to him, Ekiti was gone for good from the hands of APC.

In a series of tweet, he re-echoed his preference for former President Goodluck Jonathan to win a second term, saying the victory of President Muhammadu Buhari was "the will of God".

Excerpts from his tweets: "Elections have come and gone and, as I always say, President Muhammadu Buhari is the president of Nigeria, not by his own grace.

"I wanted Jonathan but God has given it to Buhari and so, we all have to submit to the will of God.

"It is a free society; there is no almighty governor; there is no almighty president. We are all governed by civility and by the constitution".

18 Year Old Girl Tries To Commit Suicide After Boyfriend Dumped Her (Photos)

This 18 year old girl (pictured above in hospital) drank half a bottle of sniper (a popular insecticide) after her boyfriend, pictured above with her, ended their relationship.

According to Aisha Yesufu who shared the story on twitter, she said the young girl is currently on admission and that doctors say her heart has now been affected by the poisonous substance.

The supposed boyfriend who jilted her had to be called in and is seen in the photos consoling her.

President Barack Obama has praised President Muhammadu Buhari's efforts at working to bring "safety, security and peace" to Nigeria and Nigeria.

At a joint press conference at the Oval Office in Washington DC, Obama said President Buhari had "a very clear agenda in defeating Boko Haram and extremists of all sorts inside of his country.

And he has a very clear agenda in terms of rooting out the corruption that too often has held back the economic growth and prosperity of his country."

Speaking to reporters at the outset of the meeting, Obama said the US hoped to partner with Nigeria "so that Nigeria ends up being not only an anchor of prosperity and stability in the eastern part of the continent, but can also be an outstanding role model for developing countries around the world."

Obama said, "It is a great pleasure to welcome President Buhari and his delegation here in the White House for his first visit since the historic election that took place.

Nigeria is obviously one of the most important countries in the World, one of the most important countries in the African continent.

"Recently we saw an election in which a peaceful transition to a new government took place.

Nevertheless, the people of Nigeria understand that only through a peaceful political process that change can take place.

President Buhari came into office with reputation for integrity and a very clear agenda, that is, to make sure that he has been bringing safety, security and peace to his country.

"He is very concerned about the spread and the violence that is taking place there and the atrocities, and has a very clear agenda in defeating Boko Haram and extremists.

I want to emphasize how much I appreciate President Buhari's work so far. I have seen him put together a team so that we can do everything that we can to help him succeed and help the people of Nigeria succeed."
